As a free service offered to our customers, Aegis Quality Services will work with your insurance company to ensure that your insurance claim is fair. The goal would be to get the insurance company to pay for all damages incurred in a storm. Since we both use the same software for pricing, this makes this effort more simple. We can represent you and resolve claim concerns on your behalf. To do so, it is in your best interest to involve your roofer as early as possible when roof damage may have occurred. After a storm, we should be your first call to educate you on whether the insurance company should get involved.
Once you call your insurer, a claim is filed and shared in a shared database across the insurance industry. If there are more than three claims in a 3-year window, your home may be deemed a high risk, which can substantially increase the cost for a homeowners’ policy in the future.
We will only suggest that a claim be filed if real damage exists that will exceed your deductible. This process can save you both time and money if followed. Further, it is easier to get a fair claim with your insurance adjuster when a professional roofer is there, and we will take the time to be present if an initial inspection occurs.
